Mom: It's a Torchwood book?

Mom: So it's "hardcover fanfiction"?
Me: Er, yeah, kinda.
Mom: And you paid for it?
Me: IT HAS A PRETTY COVER. SHUT UP.
Mom: So it's not any good then.
Me: ...........
Mom: Thought not.
