Hmm, okay, so it seems we started right around the same time. :D I watched everything over the summer, but didn't really start reading/writing fic until August/September. *nods*

I was curious about the original stuff, just because I've been writing in various fandoms for a few years now, but I'm rarely, rarely inspired to write anything original. (And by that I mean...never., really. XD;; Aside from some poetry way back, I guess. >_>) I think what you said is really the key though--it's having that made-to-order audience for feedback and everything that really makes the difference, I guess? Sometimes I feel like it's weird though, especially when I'm between fandoms, like I'm just sitting there waiting for another character to come along that really inspires me? And I wonder...why don't I just create one? But then I never do. :P
