So, a lot of you have heard this already, but....

I GOT THE JOB!

I am now (or will be, as of May 2nd) a Coordinator of Sponsorship Operations at Save the Children. 

HURRAY!

I'd like to thank, most especially analineblue (and Jeremy) for beta'ing my resume and keeping up my spirits like, every single day. Because I met her in Torchwood fandom, do I get to claim that Torchwood helped me get my job? ;)

Also, thanks to thebuttonontop for listening to me complain about being a temp forever and for being such a good cheerleader during the process.

 

Now I can maybe actually move out of my house soon. YAY! ;)

Congratulations! Buddhism asks us to follow a path of Right Livelihood, meaning work that does not harm living beings or the planet in general. Not only are you causing no harm, you are helping to rectify wrongs done to children. How exciting.

Absolutely - I've loved working there for the past 2.5 years and being able to continue that is such a wonderful thing. I really love this organization. :-D And thank you!
