Hi There
So I was...trying to explain John Barrowman to my coworker. Well, no, I was just trying to show her a picture. But there was a specific picture I wanted to show her, because her current...boy-thing looked like a younger version in a specific picture she had just shown me. Wow, that was convoluted.
Anyway, I was looking at images via Google. And I came across this one:
I am aware what this picture is from, of course, but it had me rolling on the floor laughing. Especially because I was in the midst of giving a relatively accurate description of Jack and the show when we came across it.
Me: So, anyway, they have a secret underground base and Jack's the leader. He's...you know, dashing, so I'm told. And they fight aliens. Or save them. Depending. 
There is a story here. If I could only find the...story bits. But to do that, I'd have to stop staring. This is proving rather difficult at the moment, but I'll get back to you. Maybe. *Clears throat* Well, perhaps there isn't actually a story here. But I would like for there to be one.
And, on that note, I should probably go to bed. Yep. That sounds like a definite plan. G'night!

Me: No. Well, he dies, but he comes back to life. Anyway, they drive this big SUV and carry unnecessarily large guns, and wear lots of black, and are generally badass.
Coworker: Uhm...
Me: What?
Coworker: *points* Please tell me that that isn't what he wears on the show.
Me: *ridiculous giggle fit* NO! But...he might...if given the opportunity.
I mean - seriously. I know the legitimate reason behind this picture but...WHAT!? Also, I admit it took me awhile to figure out. I just thought he was being a merchant who was trying to sell me something. And it struck me as a bit more Renaissance-like at first, mostly because that's probably what I wanted to see.
So, uh, someone please write me ridiculous fic about this picture? I will give you my eternal love and gratitude and possibly my first born child, as well.
I also saw a picture of GDL, James Marsters, and some fan. But. The fan looked like Tori Amos and I had to stare for a long while as I tried to figure out why...they were in a picture together. But they weren't, of course.
