Well I have given birth and I can tell you coming up with story takes far longer and is infinitely more painful (although not in a pushing a bowling out of your *&!?*%^"£ way) than the three hours it took to pop out my sprog. But the end result is the same, ultimitely I'm proud of what I've achieved. And it's a learning curve, both being a parent and a writer, and sometimes you make mistakes but that's fine because as long as someone calls you on it, then even if you don't agree, it gives you reason to pause the next time.
