I wrote this ages ago, and I KNOW I posted it here, but now I can't find it. So I'm posting it again. Just because it made me laugh. A lot. This was all prompted by analineblue and me discussing the benefits of "brb." It's...almost fic?

Suzie: (automated message) brb
Ianto: Well, it’s hardly accurate now.
Ianto: I’ll be sure to clear it out when I delete her out of the system.
Jack: Thanks. Don’t forget to set up Gwen’s access, too.
 
 
Owen: Jack?
Jack: (automated message) brb, time travel.
Owen: Do you think he’s serious?
Tosh: No, I hacked in. He last updated this weeks ago.
Gwen: So then where is he?
Ianto: Well, if he is time traveling…
Tosh: He could’ve gone back and updated his away message! Ianto, you’re brilliant!

Jack: Ianto, don’t trust Saxon.
Ianto: (automated message) brb, Himalayas

Tosh: Ianto, have you seen Jack? I need him to approve the forms for this month's requisitions.
Ianto: Well, he just sent me a text.
Tosh: And?
Ianto: It said 'brb, apocalypse.'
Tosh: ....
Tosh: Ah.
Tosh: Okay then.
Ianto: Right.
Tosh: Who taught him brb?
Ianto: Gwen, probably.
Ianto: Would you like me to forge his signature again?
Tosh: Yes. Please.
 
 
Gwen: IANTO!
Ianto: Yes, Gwen? Can I help you?
Gwen: Can you put your special tea in my princess mug!
Gwen: Please! 
Jack: o.O
Jack: I want your special tea in my princess mug, too.
Gwen: Jack! 
Ianto: I put my coffee in your regular mug.
Jack: ....
Jack: Oh. 
Ianto: Yep.
Jack: That wasn't...?
Ianto: Nope.
Gwen: Tea? Please? 
Ianto: Coming up, Gwen.
Jack: Damn. 
Ianto: brb, tea.
Gwen: Is this like the "brb, weevil hunting" message I got the other night?
Gwen: Because there was nothing "brb" about that at all.
Jack: There was nothing "weevil hunting" about it, either.
Gwen: *headdesk*
 
 
Rhys: I’m thinking lasagna tonight.
Gwen: brb, Torchwood.
Rhys: Or…not.
 
 
Jack: Look, I said I was sorry.
Ianto: Yes. I noticed.
Jack: Forgive me?
Ianto: Nope.
Jack: Why not?
Ianto: Because “brb, dying” is NOT. FUNNY.

read it before but it's still brilliant ;) love jack saying can i have your special tea in my princess mug too ;) just the idea of jack having a princess mug would be quite amazing ;) maybe there's a story in that....:P
