My Brain Works Backwards

Oddly (and unlike 99.9% of the population), even though I watched the first handful of seasons of Buffy and all of Angel before seeing Torchwood, James Marsters will be John Hart to me first, and Spike second.

Which makes finally picking up Buffy where I left off (end of season 4) absolutely hilarious. And I swear...UNIT? The Initiative? THE SAME THING, OKAY?

Also, I have a headache. Also, I'm already packing for Friday and freaking out about security and the like. Also, I'm going to bed.

OMG, you're watching Buffy too? Well, unlike you, I just started and am somewhere halfway through the third season. It's so weird seeing James Masters so young! And I see now why people say Spike and John are very much alike. I do like his white blonde hair in Buffy.
Willow is so adorable, and I now feel lots better for crushing on Anthony Head (Giles) while watching Merlin.

That must put me squarely in with that 0.1% then, because I watched James in Buffy (missed him in Angel) and I loved him to death, but I see John Hart first. Weird when you get right down to it; John was only in three episodes, while Spike was an integral part of Buffy (yes, and Angel).

Speaking of Buffy, I STILL need to watch Once More With Feeling (I think that's the title). You know, the one that they all sang their lines? It was on the other day, but of course, not on a channel I could watch. *sad madface*

Oh - and have a great trip!

Favourite episode of series 4 would have to be Superstar. ;) I have a huge love for Danny Strong.

Hmmm, I saw the first season of Angel, then my favourite character died and as I never actually liked the show I stopped watching, can't for the life of me remember if Marsters were in that season, he's John Hart to me -or himself ;)

Watching Buffy brings back happy memories as I used to watch it with my eldest daughter. She still does watch it on boxed sets with her partner - but not with me these days!

We also loved Angel and I still have my treasured 'Angel' glass in the cupboard that was bought for me:)

JM was brilliant as Spike - a part made for him... or is that the other way round?
