Of course they are. It's Torchwood; they may have to SLEEP with the alien, rather than, you know, kill or capture it.
I really think they were trying to do something with the composition of this picture. I really do. Did it work the way they intended? Probably not.
I loved Suzie, too. I've seen Indira Varma on Rome and Bones, and I was so excited. And then...she died. Poor thing.
