Ianto was willing to forgive Jack for smashing things deliberately, but not so much when he finds it was accidental in a fight with John. Not that I blame Ianto for being a bit miffed that Jack didn't kill John. For that matter, I don't blame Jack for NOT killing John - it wouldn't change anything, and another death would be another burden for Jack to bear.
The grief is still hanging heavily over both of them, but they will weather it and keep going.
