Dreams

Okay, I never put much stock in dreams. Most of them are so weird, I can't even begin to remember all of the pieces. 

BUT. The past week has seen FOUR DREAMS in which I was pregnant. The first two times I had twins. The second two, I was 

In each of the dreams, I was in some happy stable relationship. The first two, we were not married (and there were three people to this relationship...two of them fictional, one of them...me. Which explains why we were not married). The third, I was getting engaged to some guy I have never seen before in my life, and was pregnant with his child. We, and our families, were very happy about this. The final dream, I was pregnant and married to some OTHER guy. In the dream, I had the baby. Perfectly healthy little boy. And then five seconds later, I was back at work. And in the dream, I totally bypassed the whole birthing process, like I had gone under or something. And my husband knew some kid I went to high school with. My husband was very sweet.

None of this matters, I know, and you probably don't care. But I don't have recurring dreams. And these were so vivid and real and...what the hell? They were nice dreams, obviously, but it's so strange. I'm not doing the dreams justice by far, but...there's the general gist of things.

Any dream analyzers out there? I did some quick Google searches, but I never trust blanket interpretations.

I have dreams (or actually, since I never want kids, I consider them nightmares ;p) in which I'm preggers quite often. Let me haul out my big-arse 1,000 page dream book and I'll get back to you later ;p The most common explanation for dreams like these are usually something daft that basically says that the pregnancy/child/baby actually represents a creative project, a work project, or something like that.

A bit unrelated, but cos it's my favourite silly dream of all time, I'm going to bore you with it anyway! I dreamed that I was Gwen Cooper and that I was trying my damndest to shag poor Ianto ;p He was terribly freaked-out and kept reminding me that I was married to Rhys. Tosh and Owen were just standing there staring at me and Jack finally had to phone Rhys, who showed up and was really pissed-off ;p Then I woke up. Why, yes! I am crazy ;p

Huh, yeah, I really don't know much about dream analysis, but I did the google search too, and everything I saw points to creativity, creation, new ideas, etc. Which I guess makes sense? Who knows though. I tend not to trust those blanket interpretations either. Hrm.
