In other news, last night I dreamt that somebody loved me that John Barrowman was a member of The Smiths. No, really. And I was...related to him somehow? And The Smashing Pumpkins had a song about a robot boy who fell in love with a real girl but then the robot boy died...which was in my dream because I was at a house party with them (because, you know, Uncle John or whatever is in The Smiths, so I get to go to these things). There was also a tornado. Because, you know, yeah. I don't know. Branches were all over the street and I was in a car with him trying to drive to somewhere.

What the hell? Really? THAT'S....I don't even know where this came from! :-/

Right. Time for work. Happy Friday! :)

Hehe - you're more random than I am! Enjoy your work, bb *laughs gleefully*

Bugger, why am I laughing? I've got boxes to unpack. Fuck.

Work? Enjoy? This tsunami/earthquake has us running our tails off already! And yes...I am rather random! ;)

Have fun unpacking! :-/

Thank you, thank you so much *severe sarcasm*.

Not that you have to answer, cuz it's none of my beeswax, but what the hell do you do, Ms. Temp Extraordinaire, that an earthquake/tsunami on the other side of the world is impacting you?

I work for a major international nonprofit and I handle data - there are a boatload of campaigns going out to fundraise for this and I have a hand in them. Plus I will have to work with the donations coming in. It's a good thing, but it's A LOT of work! :)

So between the earthquake in NZ a couple of weeks ago, the one in Chile before that and now Japan, you've had plenty to do. At least work isn't slow :/ That's good right?

Just had a meeting - apparently it's not nearly as bad as we thought (we were expecting another Haiti! Well, I was anyway). So I can stop the heart attack now! Hurray!

What a great job you have! You're on the front lines to help folks do good! Very cool!

Japan is waaay better prepared for a major earthquake than Haiti. I mean look at the difference between Christchurch and Haiti - those were the same size (the first ChCh one, not this second one, which was actually smaller, but did more damage) but nobody was even hurt in NZ when that 7.1 hit last Sept, vs the 3000 or so killed in Haiti (and I think I'm low on that number, somehow). Unfortunately, it'll be that the tsunami will have caused the most death and destruction, like in Indonesia, as there is just no way to stop water when it wants to go somewhere, and with all that debris...

I'm glad though that you can relax your heart - you are way too young and gorgeous to be having a heart attack. Okay, now I sound like I'm excluding less-than-gorgeous people - like Oh, it's okay, hun, go ahead and have your heart attack, you aren't that cute anyway. I really gotta figure out a better way to phrase things!

Well, that's certainly a mad dream ;p Sounds fun, though!
