I keep telling myself I'm not reading any more CoE compliant fics - they hurt too much and I prefer living in denial land - but certain author's keep dragging me back and making me sad all over again! *stamps foot*
I do love that Jack finds himself inducted into Ianto's family and dragged along by a small girl to get ice cream though. Children can be so incredibly accepting; Mica doesn't hesitate - he's Uncle Jack, so he belongs.
