I got tagged by [livejournal.com profile] usakiwigirl! *Feels special* Er, right. On with the memeage. Although it seems vaguely familiar, so apologies if I repeat myself. :)

The Rules:

1. People who have been tagged must write the answers on their blog and replace any question they dislike with a new, original question.

2. Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.

1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up.
-Coffee mug. It's large and red and says "Mug of Coffee" on it. In case I forget.
-My Blackberry. Which I keep thinking is blinking a red light at me, but it isn't. Stupid phantom messages.
-My cigarettes and lighter.
-An empty wine glass that once held delicious wine. Now it holds air.
-Bottles of lotion. I swear, I have a collection.

2. How do you style your hair?
I don't do much of anything. It gets washed then it goes and pursues its own interests. Now that I've cut it, though, I do even less than I  used to.

3. What are you wearing now?
A big fluffy bath robe. HEY...I just woke up, what do you want? And it's cozy.

4. What's your occupation?
Apparently, "Fundraising Systems Department Unit Support" for a big international non-profit, which means "Saria will do anything because we tell her." I need a fancier title. Also, technically, my occupation is "temp." But. Whatever. 2 1/2 years at one place, and you start to forget that minor detail.

5. What do you hear right now?
Opera and my air conditioner. And something crashing in the kitchen. Great.

6. What's your favourite guilty pleasure treat?
Salted caramel mochas from Starbucks. Oh God, I want one now.

7. What are you thinking about right now?
Why I'm up at 1am. What I have to do at work. How I'm going to pay my bills. Whether or not I should go make coffee or try to go back to bed. Speaking of, I need to buy coffee this weekend. Preferably whole bean now that I have my fancy new grinder. And dark roast. Oh, and more K-Cups for the office. And sweetener.

8. Write the first word that comes to mind.
Life. I don't know why, but there you have it.

9. Dog person or cat person?
I like dogs, but I am definitely a cat person. Probably because I'm like a puppy myself. Opposites attract?

10. If you came across $2,000 (or other currency) would you keep it or turn it in?
It depends on the situation, really. Is it on my front lawn, just hanging out? I'll keep it. Otherwise, yeah, I'd turn it in. Especially because if I lost $2,000, I'd like for someone to turn it in.

11. What was the last thing that you bought?
A baguette, some sort of olive medley, mangoes, limes, 3 kinds of cheeses, a salad, and a bottle of wine.

12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Everywhere. Seriously. I'd start in England, work my way to France, Spain, Italy, Greece, onto Russia, India, Dubai, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, then back up to China and Japan, stop off in Hawaii, Mexico, Brazil, and then home. We're also going to assume that there are no issues in any of those countries at the time, yes?

13. Where do you see yourself in five minutes?
Sitting here listening to this song that seems endless, I suppose. Or maybe back in bed. I'm hopeful. Five minutes from this point, I went to make coffee. So scratch that.

14. Last book you've read?
This is rather embarrassing - I don't even remember. Right. I should go...get on that. The Historian is sitting on bed, asking me to read it. I should. Just not right now.

15. What are you doing this weekend?
Getting my free birthday car wash, getting my nails done, going out to dinner, going to the bar, not working. Yay, celebrating. Also probably reading LAS fics and voting. Hopefully reading a real book?

16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
Oh, I can't decide. I really want to play drums. Or piano. Or violin.

17. How are you?
All the better for having you back, sir. Erm. I'm okay. A bit tired, overwhelmed by life, but otherwise, I'm fine.

18. What are you doing tomorrow?
You mean today, right? Working. Then coming home. Then going to sleep. Then working again. Tomorrow will be more of the same, come to think of it. Except I will not be working on Friday. *Dances*

19. What are you looking forward to the most?
Friday. Oh, please, get here soon.

20. What scares you the most and why?
Failure. I fear failure like you have no idea. I want to be the best at everything - well, at everything I'm interested in doing. I've no delusions that I'd ever be the best painter or surgeon or race car driver. But yeah. Failure. It terrifies me. And it's not so much for myself. I'm a people-pleaser. I hate when I do anything to disappoint anyone. :-/

And it really is funny, because I definitely do whatever anyone tells me. Yep. This is proof positive.
