One note, Jack doesn't say "and these stones will rise and sing," he says "In these stones horizons sing." I normally wouldn't nitpick but I LOVED that line. They're the words Torchwood literally lived under, written to epitomize the city and country Jack loves and is about to leave, same words he and Ianto saw every single morning (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/WMC_at_night.jpg) when they went to work. *sniff*
