I made it home safely after 14 hours of driving. My car is also safe. No tickets, no damage, and only just a smidge of sleep deprivation (so much, that I first wrote "depravation," because my sleep is apparently depraved?). Therefore, by smidge, I clearly intended the exact opposite of the word (which, according to my trusty thesaurus, is "lot"). Just waiting to hear that Button returned safely to her home and then off to bed for me.

We saw Kai Owen this (yesterday, actually) morning, too, in the lobby. I was going out to have a cigarette, but must've looked quite the stalker. Oops. In fact, I almost turned around so as NOT to look like a stalker. But, dammit, nicotine won over any sense of self-preservation.

Of course, I said what I usually say when I end up behind someone (you know, non-famous people in line at the checkout counter or something): "I'm following you!" Nice, Saria. Open mouth, insert foot. Sometimes, I wonder about myself.

We chatted a bit, and I fear I was utterly awkward. It didn't help that it was early and I was still half-asleep/starved/giddy/under-caffeinated. I don't even remember the conversation, other than that I thanked him, chatted a bit about our respective travel times, and then shook hands. He went back in, wishing us a safe journey. 'Twas all good, I suppose but I still feel guilty for bothering him. He must've thought I was nuts (especially as I went out with just a t-shirt; I like the cold, but he doesn't know that). At least I got to have my damn cigarette (which will apparently kill me via humiliation before anything else ever manifests).

Oh, and side note? My mom thinks that both the poem and "What the fuck" are hilarious additions to my picture. Still going in my cubicle, all "inappropriate language" aside. HA!

VIDEOS! From the panel we attended.

The first is from Button.

The second is from someone. I thank him/her, deeply, for posting as I wasn't able to get it on our cameras. *Warning for language*

Oh god, they're both good. I loved Kai singing and the coffee rap!
Thank you so much for sharing!
I can now never listen to JB sing "I am what I am" without thinking of Kai's version. :DD

Haha! Isn't it just wonderful? It made my year, that's for sure! And Kai has a really good voice. Apparently, Burn can sing, too. And so can Naoko. Eve, so they told us, cannot. (Someone asked about a Torchwood musical...).

I think they should do a Torchwood musical anyway. Gwen's supposed to be special. Maybe special means No Singing? ;-)

Ooh, a Torchwood musical, yes!
I bet TW has karaoke nights! Sometimes Janet and Myfanwy join in!

RTD wrote in his last memoir that Benny and Bjorn of ABBA wanted to write a Torchwood musical (they're big fans)! Some theater group in the UK was trying to do a TW musical...

I love the thought of Torchwood karaoke nights! *mind drifting to Jack and Ianto singing a romantic duet* ;D
