HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!

 So as I was sitting at work today, a thought crossed my mind.

I have strange kinks.

Not strange as in particularly depraved or twisted or dirty. Oh, no (although I'm sure those are there, too?), I'm talking bizarre. Things-that-aren't-normally-kinks kinds of things. 

Like Elizabethan costuming, for example. 

But also music. 

That's where this line of thinking started. Listening to my iPod. Listening to Yo-Yo Ma on my iPod, of all things. Music is such a strange kink of mine. Seriously. Not only do I mentally choreograph dances to it, I also mentally choreograph SEX SCENES. Ritualistic, dancey sex scenes. What the Hell? This is why I don't write smut. I can't quite translate THIS onto a page. Someone else want to try? Please? 

   

Yes, I have a...er...two...Xena soundtracks. What of it? DON'T JUDGE ME!

There are others. Lucky for you, I can't think of any of them now. In any case....Someone write me Jack/Ianto smut based on any of these? I will love you forever! *Snicker*

If it's any consolation, I often use music to help me visualise and put together scenes in some unwritten original stories I play about with occasionally.

If I get inspired, I'll try to write you that smut ;p

Hee! This reminds me of how I mentally self-narrate all the time. "She steps out of the car heavily, reluctant to meet the cold. Her sweater catches on the latch of the car door and she groans inwardly." All while listening to epic music. Because, apparently, getting out of the car to walk into work is an epic adventure?

YAY! Xena is good. I refused to watch it on principle for a long time (HEY! Kinda like TW....) but ultimately relented. And now I blast the theme on the way to work....

I have a fic finished - but it's after 3am and I need to check it properly, so I will do so in the morning, then post it for you. I will tell you I used Bolero, because that is probably my all time favourite piece of music - I've loved it since Torvill & Dean did their ice-dance routine when I was all of 13yrs old! That's a long time ago in dog years, LOL.

OH MY. Bolero is my favorite, too! In fact, I want it to play instead of the Wedding March...if I ever get married. Or at my coronation (which is probably more likely to occur than my fictional wedding).

I saw a bunch of videos for that when looking for a good version of Bolero to post. The routine was good. I wish I could dance/ice skate/move unclumsily.
