General Announcement

Okay, this will make absolutely no sense to my non-American (or non-Public Radio Listener) friends, but....
IRA GLASS IS A TIME LORD. Facebook told me. (It's a long story). Don't know who Ira Glass is? Well, aside from being a Time Lord, he is the host and producer of "This American Life." Oh, just Wikipedia it. Here, I even did the hard part for you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ira_Glass
I just emailed him. I wanted him to know, in case he has a chameleon arch or something? Also, he may already be aware of his Time Lord status. In which case, I wanted him to know that I am ready and willing to run around and get captured (this is a requirement of all companions).
The radio booth (not pictured, though decidedly "bigger on the inside") is his Tardis.
And that microphone right there? *Points* It's sonic.
Those papers there in front of him? Instructions on how to fix a Chameleon Circuit (something about hot-wiring the fragment links and superseding the binary something-or-other, so I'm told. He wouldn't let me see the whole page).
That cup on the other side? *Points again* It's full of delicious coffee. Ianto brewed it after Jack got over the whole "more-than-one-Time-Lord-hurray!" shock. (Jack has since been relegated to his bunker until he can learn to behave himself in front of company. It's okay - he gets conjugal visits from Ianto).
That pencil in his hands? Yeah...that...well, that's just a pencil. He uses it to point out danger. Or jot down some notes. Or twirl around in his hands in a Time Lord-y fashion. When things get really tough, he gnaws on it while affecting a ponderous expression.
Why is his desk in the middle of a field? Well, because he's a TIME LORD. Why wouldn't it be in the middle of a field? Sheesh, people. It's all the rage in Gallifrey. Some of you have clearly not been studying their Gallifreyan History. The buildings being erected in the background are for a relocating colony of humanoid, pacifist aliens from XB Trillian Minor.
JUST KIDDING. Gallifreyans working in fields? *Snort* Do you think I'm daft?
He's obviously INSIDE his radio-booth-Tardis. It's so big, it contains a field. And houses. AND ITS OWN SUN AND ECOSYSTEM. Obviously.
If he does respond, I fully intend to let you all know. Although
analineblue and I have first dibs as future companions. Get in line, ladies and gents.
That is all.
I should be writing that story I started this morning. Or even sleeping. But no. I'm harassing radio personalities AND my f-list, simultaneously. See? I'd make the PERFECT companion.

Yes, Ianto will be making the rounds as consolation, I suppose, while we're with Timelord!Ira.
I think there should be a "This Galactic Life." Yes, I do.
