Me: So. You're twenty-one now.
Brother: Yep.
Me: Aren't I supposed to take you out drinking?
Brother: Nope. I don't want to drink.
Me: Ookay.
Brother: I'm going to the store, want anything?
Me: *Grinning* Beer!
Brother: You've been waiting awhile for that, haven't you?

Me: What're you watching?
Brother: That 70's Show.
Me: Oh! Hey, is that Seth Green?
Brother: Yeah.
Me: Oh. He was on Buffy.
Brother: Okay...
Me: Hmm. Buffy. James Marsters was also on Buffy.
Brother: Okay...
Me: And guess what else James Marsters was on?
Brother: *Not paying attention* What?
Me: TORCHWOOD! *Plays theme on cell phone*
Brother: OH GOD. Make it stop! Torchwood is following us. You've brought Torchwood onto our house! *Rocks back and forth*
Me: I curse the House of S------ with Torchwood! *Evil laugh*


Me: Guess what I bought!
Brother: Torchwood?
Me: Uh, no. I already own it. But close?
Brother: No, I meant like, actually Torchwood.
Me: The rights to the show. 
Brother: No. The group. The people. The base. The whole thing. With the cyborg chick and the pterodactyl.
Me: .....Yes. Yes I did.
Brother: So what'd you really buy? 
Me: It just doesn't seem as cool now.
Brother: What is it?!
Me: *mumbles* I pre-ordered two new Torchwood audiobooks.
Brother: Of course you did.

*sigh* If I weren't flat-broke, I'd so pre-order the new audiobooks. Alas for the jobless ;p

He says thank you! And yeah, we're silly. We're thinking of starting a comedy act, but we realize that pretty much no one will understand.

I...I shouldn't be. I'm so hard-up for money, it isn't even funny. But. Well. *Sigh* I'm a bad, bad girl, what can I say? lol
