Well. My initial investigation has turned up...nothing. >_> But this doesn't mean much, since lots of times I just never learn the names of songs/bands even though I have them on various mixes? ....What would be the song (or songs :P) that you think I'd know...if I knew them? *curious* ;)

Let's see. They came out with Mer De Noms in....May of 2000. Their single, Judith, is the only one I can think of having heard on the radio, but I don't much listen to radio.

Their first album is pretty focused on religion and/or devotion. Their second is addiction (and I swear could be Ianto's secret soundtrack) and their third is war (mostly covers, including...a cover of their own song? It's brilliant, actually). Uhm. They're a bit more melodic than Tool (although Tool can be pretty melodic) and

The lead singer is...Maynard. Yep. Timelord Maynard. And the (or a?) guitarist (?) was in The Smashing Pumpkins and there's a session drummer who did work with NIN. Anyway. Uh, let's see. Oh, I made a cyberwoman video back in October and it had one of their songs in it. I THOUGHT I might've used some of their lyrics in fic before, too, but I can't seem to find it now. It may be one of the myriad works in progress I have laying around.

Huh, so... I'm listening to Judith now (with headphones, hehe) and... I don't know it. O_o Because clearly, I am lame? IDK. :P But yeah, I like it~ And... I think I should download some of their stuff when I get home. *nodnod* I like the idea of this secret Ianto soundtrack thing... *__*
