YAY! I Finished It!

sariagrayOnce upon a time, there was a crazy fan girl. She wanted to combine the music of one of her favorite bands with video clips from one of her favorite television shows. She had it all plotted out, too. And then, the stupid thing she downloaded for free off of the internet stopped working for her, so she was stuck with clips she had made previously. She gave up the idea.
Then, months later, she decided “Enough is enough! I will make this video and use whatever crappy, trash clips I have, and it will be brilliant.”
So she made her video.
No, really. Ask thebuttonontop. I have been talking about making this video for MONTHS now. And it’s not exactly how I wanted it to turn out, but it’s better than nothing.
Like my stories, this video is (pretending to be) layered. First, it’s about us fans (or, the idea of fandom? Or…just me, really). And then it’s about Jack. I tried to match up video with the lyrics, and I KNOW that there were better clips I could use…I just don’t have them. So. Whatever.
Also, please note that anytime the song mentions a vampire, John Hart appears. This was done intentionally (and gigglingly). You guys, I have to amuse myself somehow! There are brief appearances of Rose and also the Master (it's like Where's Waldo? or something).
And it’s a 7 MINUTE VIDEO. This does not sound like a lot. But it is. Oh, it is.
So, ladies and gentlemen, I give you “Much Better You Than I,” a Torchwood fanvid set to “Vicarious” by Tool. This is semi-dedicated to GDL. Semi, only because I guarantee he will never see it and, even if by some bizarre stroke of fortune he does, he will probably find it insane and stupid and want nothing to do with it. OH WELL. Tough.
