I want a pretty journal! *kicks computer*

I have been playing with it all day, on and off, and I don't even know. I try uploading mood themes, and my computer shuts off. I try finagling the links on the side to be red, and nothing happens. I...give up entirely.

In OTHER news.

I went grocery shopping again today. Why is this my new obsession? Ah, healthy eating. I also went to the library and got a hair cut and got my nails done (and then promptly messed them up again because I totally fail at sitting still).

Also, Torchwood is still stalking me. At auditions yesterday, I sat behind the Big Scary Desk with the director and apparently...people thought I was important. So this guy, as actors often do at auditions, was telling us about his acting career. And he mentioned working with Bill Pullman. And while I didn't do it out loud, inside I screamed, "AH! TORCHWOOD! STOP IT!"

I also managed to connect TW to TW. Wanna see? No? Well then, close your eyes. Here we go!

Torchwood - Burn Gorman - Dark Knight Rises (Rising? Whatever) - Christian Bale - Velvet Goldmine - Jonathan Rhys Meyers - Titus - Alan Cumming - Tinman - Zooey Deschanel - Bones - David Boreanez - Buffy/Angel - James Marsters - Torchwood

Yeah. I did it. And all by looking at my DVD collection, really. Because I am the Missing Link?

You want to know what this post is really about? It's about me NOT WRITING MY LAS FIC. Help? Please?

That is all.

You shouldn't tell me to ignore you because it only encourages me to stop by and see what's going on.

I miss my mood theme, which I lost when I let my paid account lapse. Really should get a paid account on DW so I can have my Ianto mood theme on there. I found DW easier to navigate as far as prettying up your journal goes.

Nails...sitting still. Totally get that, did the same thing myself yesterday!

I see TW everywhere! Sometimes it is quite off putting.

LAS - yeah. Nope, written zero words!

As I'm sure you can tell, not much is going on at all. ;)

Mood themes are great...they serve to distract me many a time. And I would totally move officially to DW, but I'm just all settled here and comfy (and, actually, lazy beyond belief!)

I'm glad I'm not the only one. All of the women in the salon were being SO GOOD and dainty and careful and I wasn't having it. Do these people not have things to do!? ;)

Oooh! Maybe we're both being stalked! And I'm also glad that I'm not the only one struggling with this prompt. There should be a break week, too, at some point. But maybe that's just me and my exhaustion talking lol

I have a DW activation code if you want it (you can transfer your whole journal at the touch of a button), it's handy to have just in case lj crashes again.

I'm forever being distracted by mood themes and gifs.

I can only sit still if I'm writing (or reading) fanfic!

I've given up on the prompt. Tonight has almost disappeared and I'm out at the movies tomorrow. So I've just used one of my skips. A break would be good, they're coming one on top of the other.

Thanks! I do have a DW account...I just rarely use it. But I am backed up! :) (I totally read this as you having a Doctor Who activation code at first, though, and got a bit excited!)

I've got 600+ words of crap for LAS. I will definitely be voted off this week, so I SHOULD skip, but...:-/ Maybe I secretly want it? (No, I don't. I just can't figure out when I decided to become a kamikaze writer...).

And yay movies! What're you seeing?

Wouldn't that be cool? A Dr Who activation code! Would you get to activate all of them or would you need a seperate code for each Doctor?

From what I've heard other people are struggling to write anything for this prompt. I'm sure whatever you write will be interesting and thought provoking, it always is. I'm actually very disappointed with myself that I couldn't write anything but this is a hobby I
have to remind myself I'm doing this for fun!

Pizza and a movie and lots of writing and tv based chat with my best mate. Awesome, even if the movie is meant to be rubbish. We're going to see Your Highness, which has had some very mixed reviews over here. I'm not setting the bar very high expectationwise so as long as I get a few laughs from it I'll be happy :)

I think you'd need specific codes for each Doctor. Or, it's a grab bag - you never know who you're going to get!

And you seem to think a bit too highly of my writing - this week you will realize that I am a fraud! lol Seriously. Worst. Prompt. Ever. And you're right. Personally, I get so caught up and competitive that I forget that no one's actually making me do this. It's supposed to be fun!

Your day sounds MUCH more fun than mine. Have a great time! Let me know if the movie was horrible. I wanted to see it because...Zooey Deschanel is in it. Which...connects me back to TW again. I need to stop this! lol ;)

Oh no, not Lucky Bags for Doctors. I'd be in the shop wishing for five, ten or eleven (six at a push) and I'd end up with one, two or seven.

It was the worst prompt in the world. And I love your writing, even if some make me cry. I read Linger over the weekend, I thought it was a really interesting idea and I loved it as a fixit. I think I've just got your christmas story to read and then I'm up to date with your fic :)

Yep I'll let you know about the film.

See TW is every where!

It was horrible. Really. Points of genuine laughter were few and far between, more often resorting to obsenities to get a giggle. And then their were some moments of complete madness where I had to wonder what they were taking to make them think it was funny in the slightest: a minotaur with a huge boner trying to rut against our hero's (and I use that in the loosest way) manservant and a wise man (of the Yoda ilk) who turned out to be a pervert who had abused Franco's character from a young age. It was 'Just wrong' as my son would say.
The only saving grace, I appear to have developed a bit of a crush on Natalie Portman! She is muchly kickarse in this movie *nods appreciatively*
