So, a lot of you have heard this already, but....

I GOT THE JOB!

I am now (or will be, as of May 2nd) a Coordinator of Sponsorship Operations at Save the Children. 

HURRAY!

I'd like to thank, most especially analineblue (and Jeremy) for beta'ing my resume and keeping up my spirits like, every single day. Because I met her in Torchwood fandom, do I get to claim that Torchwood helped me get my job? ;)

Also, thanks to thebuttonontop for listening to me complain about being a temp forever and for being such a good cheerleader during the process.

 

Now I can maybe actually move out of my house soon. YAY! ;)

But won't you miss your Mum calling up to you with crazy ideas for new TW fics, LOL?! And what about the bizarre conversations with your brother? You know you're going to miss giving him TW hell!

Weeeell, I will still have a telephone. I will have the benefits without having the downsides. Like people stealing my shampoo. And my food. ;) And I'll get to walk around naked all of the time! It will be a good time! When I eventually get there, that is. ;)

I think yes. Your husband and children may disagree heartily, though. Which is a shame - we could've been roommates.

Eh, they don't need me. They only notice I'm around when they want something. Be good for them to do for themselves for ever a while.
