So. The Hugo Awards.

Doctor Who has three episodes up for  "Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form."

Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form

Doctor Who: “A Christmas Carol,” written by Steven Moffat; directed by Toby Haynes (BBC Wales)
Doctor Who: “The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang,” written by Steven Moffat; directed by Toby Haynes (BBC Wales)
Doctor Who: “Vincent and the Doctor,” written by Richard Curtis; directed by Jonny Campbell (BBC Wales)
Fuck Me, Ray Bradbury, written by Rachel Bloom; directed by Paul Briganti - Watch Online
The Lost Thing, written by Shaun Tan; directed by Andrew Ruhemann and Shaun Tan (Passion Pictures)

Awesome, right?

Want to know what's more awesome?

I graduated from high school and was...acquaintances with Paul Briganti who directed (and was in!) "Fuck Me, Ray Bradbury."

The last thing he ever said to me was that...I have balls (for doing something that was...well, ballsy, I guess).

Yet another successful connection for Saria. Huzzah. (I will live vicariously through everyone!)

“Vincent and the Doctor” is my favourite episode from Series 5. I'd love to see it win!

I would also love to see "Vincent and the Doctor" win! BTW, the book "Chicks Dig Time Lords" which JB's sister Carole contributed to also got a Hugo nod!
