Letter To A Plot Bunny

Dear Plot Bunny,

I see you there, wriggling your little pink nose. You're all "Ianto and Owen, Ianto and Owen, Ianto and Owen" with your twitchy ears and adorable pouty face. But as you are NOT helping me to actually figure out what you want me to DO with Ianto and Owen (aside from the rather obvious, of course), I shall continue to ignore you.

STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT.

I know. I understand, trust me! I want it just as badly as you do, Plot Bunny. But unfortunately, my story needs to be more than "Ianto and Owen walk into a pub - then some stuff happens and they have sex. It is angsty and wonderful and Ianto is such a dom and Owen not-so-secretly loves it. The end."

So, until you have something more specific to offer, I have nothing to work with. Please get back to me as soon as you've got a concrete idea. Without impetus, I have nothing. So go eat a carrot and get on that, yeah? And NO, "Sugar" by Tori Amos does not count as impetus, you damn stupid rabbit.

P.S. Ianto having sex with Owen simply because Owen's had sex with Gwen and he thinks it means he's got one up on Jack who left him doesn't count, either. Even if, in his twisted mind, he thinks he can be more of what Jack needs - oh God, stop it already; transference doesn't work! SHUT UP.

Hm. Hmmmmmm. Hmmmmmmmm.

I think, Jack's presence falling under the category of "everything," that Ianto would know. But I don't think Owen would. Despite everything, I don't think Owen's much of an exhibitionist when it comes to, you know, the team. I think knowing about Jack would be...intimidating to him, you know?

How about, Jack's watching - he and Ianto both have comms in, and Jack gives instructions to Ianto. At some point, Ianto goes off "on his own" and removes the comm. At the most compromising position for Owen possible, Jack enters ...
