A Thought Before Bed

Jack has a team. There are four people in this team. Ianto has suits, Gwen has red Converse trainers, Owen has his title, and Tosh has the ability to build a sonic screwdriver. 

Yes, yes, Jack also kept a baby Tardis and a hand-in-a-jar and lives directly under the place where the Tardis landed.

BUT HIS TEAM IS THE DOCTOR AND HE CONTROLS THEM. Like, in Power Rangers? Where each of the pieces/people come together to form...whatever the hell it was called? AND THEY WERE CONTROLLED BY A HEAD IN A JAR!

 

Torchwood = Power Rangers and Jack = Having Issues.

Anyone up for some psychoanalysis?

Agh! Yes! I have never seen Power Rangers properly, but I get what you mean. This is totally what Jack is doing, and now he has lost both 'doctors', yep, issues.

I haven't seen the Power Rangers since I was...6? Which is a good 18 years ago. I don't recall much, so you're not at a disadvantage. Poor Jack, though! His issues are legion.

Actually this makes me think of the current Daleks which some fans think look like the Power Rangers. ;)

Yes, and thankfully no more daleks for a while. *Sigh of utter relief* I never thought of them as looking like the Power Rangers, though!

I am glad you never noticed! I was half-worried that everyone was going to sneak up and say, "Well, obviously!" And I think Suzie may be the Doctor's twisted, obsessive side.

Hmmm. Made-to-order Doctor. I mean, Jack picks his team, yes? Except for Ianto (who he only finally hired after seeing him in a suit) and Gwen (who...well...I've got nothing here).

:D I am probably over-thinking this, but it's fun.
